National Company for Fishery & Aquaculture was established in 2015. Providing fishery supports and products for the people of Egypt & contributing in lowering the prices of fish.

In accordance with the directives of the political leadership, the armed forces commissioned the establishment of a company working in the field of fisheries and aquaculture in cooperation with the General Authority for Fisheries Development.

Fish Farm Project (East of Tafria)
1- The number of (3960) sea fish aquarium (seabream, grouse, lotus) with an area of 10740 feddans with a production capacity of 16 thousand tons / session.
2 - Number (1614) aquarium water medium salinity (tilapia - family Balburip) area
(4300) feddans production capacity (10) thousand tons / session.
3 - Lake area (2260) acres.
Bardawil Lake
1. Preserve endangered species in the lake, which restore the environmental balance of the lake and raise its productivity.
2- Sorting and exporting hall according to European specifications.
3. Access to biological and dynamic parameters and catch specifications, which are the inputs of analytical models, which in turn lead to the identification and construction of the strategy of management and development of the lake.
4 - Development of ponds and fishing equipment in the lake (fish handling tools - fishing nets and crafts - cooling rooms and freezing) .
Marine Fish Cages Project (East Al-Tafraya)
Contains (61) ponds on an area of (107) acres with a production capacity (250) tons of marine fish - (100) tons shrimps.
Tuna culture project (blue - Yellow):
The project is the first of its kind in the Middle East to cultivate blue tuna (Marsa Jarjoub / Marsa Matrouh) and Yellow Tuna (Zafarana / Red Sea Governorate
1- Tuna hatchery for finfish (blue / yellow).
2- The number of (30) cage of first stage tuna farming with a diameter of (90) meters and a depth of (20) meters in each area with a capacity of 120 tons / cage.
Establishment of a fishing fleet in regional and international waters :
The company owns a fishing fleet as follows:
The number of (12) high seas, the number (3) coastal fishing boat
Internal marketing of fish and marine products:
1- Establishing a number of fixed ports and a fleet of vehicles equipped as mobile outlets to sell the company's products at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
2 - Provide all products of the company's national projects of fish wealth and aquaculture from production sites to the consumer directly.
