The company was established in 1999 to reclaim and cultivate lands by the use of the well in the region (to develop the area of shark el-Owainat) south of the valley. The company conducted a comprehensive study on the weather conditions, soil and water rations for each feddan in order to apply the most modern methods of irrigation that incorporate fixed, drip and pivot irrigation. Since its establishment till 2008, the company has reclaimed and cultivated 20 thousand feddans with crops ,vegetables, and fruit trees using the latest technology in agricultural mechanism . Since 2009, the company reclaimed 10000 feddans with strategic crops to reach a cultivated area of 30 thousand feddans. 10 thousand feddans are to be reclaimed by the end of 2010. It is planned to reclaim and cultivate 60 thousand feddans through the near future to reach a cultivated area of 100 thousand feddans in addition to cultivating protected plants in 560 greenhouses with vegetables , medicinal and aromatic plants on an area of 125feddans planted with ( marjoram, anise , fenugreek, coriander, nigella) To achieve integration within the farm, many integral activities have been established that includes (16 sheep farms- new 5000honey bee hives to reach a total of 10000 hives within 20 apiaries- pigeons ranches- cow fattening ranches of 400 cows. In the field of development, population residential attraction and foundation of agricultural society in the region , 310 family residential units have been built in addition to planning to build new residential units besides land reclamation and agriculture.
